Junior School Uniform Guidelines

	No 1 Uniform	No 2 Uniform	Spring/Fall Uniform	Athletic Uniform
When	To be worn every Wednesday as well as for school outings/field trips and special occasions.	For everyday wear.	Until Thanksgiving and starting after the March Break.	Worn for gym class and occasionally for special athletic field trips.
Tops	White crested blouse (short sleeve or long sleeve). Solid green clip-on tie. Cardigan may be worn for warmth. *Grade 1 students see bellow.	White crested blouse (short sleeve or long sleeve). Solid green clip-on tie. Cardigan or Fleece may be worn for warmth. *Grade 1 students see bellow.	White crested polo with green trim. Cardigan or Fleece may be worn for warmth.	Gym t-shirt (short sleeve). Knit Jacket for outdoor activities. Elmwood Hoodie (grey or green).





Bottoms	Green Tunic	Black Dress Trousers	Solid Green skirt or skort	Gym shorts. Knit Pants for outdoor activities in cooler weather. Elmwood black crested sweatpants are also accepted.



Socks	Green knee socks or tights	Black socks (with trousers). Green knee socks or tights (with tunic)	Green knee socks or tights	Solid White sport socks.



Shoes	Black shoes	Black shoes	Black shoes	Running shoes (any colour). Indoor & Outdoor.

*Grade 1 exceptions:

Grade 1 girls must have a No. 1 uniform for Wednesdays and special outings.
Grade 1 girls may wear the crested white turtleneck with No. 1 and No. 2 uniforms if they choose.
Grade 1 girls may choose to wear the Early Years polo dress as their No. 2 winter uniform instead of that listed above. The green crested polo dress is worn with black crested leggings and black socks. Options: cardigan or fleece.

Shoes: Plain black shoes, heel no more than 1", the soles must also be black. These can be oxford, loafer or Mary-Jane style shoes (no boots, sandals or slides). They can be purchased at any local or online retailers. If you have questions, please contact the Uniform Shop at uniformshop@elmwood.ca.
